A 3 mm acrylic cover protects the sign from rubbing and fingers. It is optional: if the sign changes every day, you often do not need it.
What it is really for
The belt says where the queue is. The sign says why. Opening hours, the price of a ticket, “till closed”, an arrow, a wet floor warning: the things customers ask about and nobody wants to answer twenty times a day.
Because you print the sign yourself on an ordinary sheet, you change it whenever you like and depend neither on us nor on any production time.
A4, A3, portrait and landscape
A4 portrait is the everyday one: a notice, a list, opening hours. A4 landscape reads better from a distance when it carries few words. A3 is for when the message has to be seen from the other side of the room.
All four formats mount on the same post and can be mixed: nothing stops you putting an A3 at the entrance and A4 along the rest of the route.
The acrylic, if you choose it, is ordered in the same format and mounts over the sign.
How it works along a route
In a long queue the usual thing is to put a sign on the first post and on the last: one to explain where it starts and another for what you need to hand when you reach the counter.
The sign holder adds little weight and holds well, but a post with an A3 in a busy area is better at the end of the run than in the middle of the corridor.

Does it fit any post?
It is made for the head of the post we sell here. On other brands' posts the head diameter and shape are different and it does not fit.
Do you make the sign?
No: the holder is ours and you print the sign yourself in A4 or A3. That way you change it the same day without depending on anyone.
Is the acrylic worth it?
If the sign stays up for weeks and people touch it, yes. If it changes every day, paper alone is more than enough.
Can I order it without a post?
Yes, it is ordered separately. But it only makes sense if you already have our posts, because it does not stand on its own.
Can it be read from both sides?
The holder grips the sheet by the edges, so a sign printed on both sides can be read from either side.
